ABOUT WECON AUSTIN

The first annual Women’s Empowerment Conference, presented by the Women’s Community Center of Central Texas, is a two-day gathering in Austin on March 22-23, 2014, for women, girls, and those who care about them!

WORKSHOPS

The conference will have panel discussions, skill shares, and presentations running all day both days. No matter what your interest or background, you are sure to find something that speaks to you.

TEENS & TWEENS

WE Con will have a separate track featuring participant-led presentations and workshops that center on issues of interest to and affecting women and girls under the age of 18.

RESOURCE FAIR

Our resource fair will offer a space to get information from many wonderful local organizations, including the League of Women Voters of the Austin Area, Planned Parenthood of Greater Texas, the American Association of University Women-Austin Branch, and many more! There will also be space to socialize or to continue discussions if you have more to say after a workshop or panel.
